Sedation dentistry is a boon for every Dental – phobic or White coat syndrome patient. We have our well experienced Sedation Anesthetist ,Dr. Ilavalagan, and experienced staff, who can manage even the most anxious patient.
After a medical Evaluation our Anaesthetist gives the sedative drug , as an IV , which can relax the patient and bring him to a calm sleep. The entire treatment process is done when the patient is asleep , with the aid of soft rubber clamps which keeps the mouth open.
Once the treatment is over, the anaesthetist brings down the drug level , which wakes up the patient and he can leave immediately , without any in house stay or admissions. The patient will be very comfortable even after the completion of the procedures , and advised to follow the Drugs prescribed.
No General anaesthesia or hospitalisation is needed for this sedation method, and all the procedures are done in the Dental chair only.
